Good stuff, Neil. The big problem is that most of the federal government's farm subsidies are going to the huge "factory farms," in some cases paying them NOT to grow things.

I workd in a chicken slauther,ones and if you knew what they did with those poor creaters befor they ended on your plate,?..but he! what did I know I was only 14 it was a long time ago. Now when I see a truck for the slauther my stomac turns. I say please God let it be quick ,without paine cause I know what they're destiny is. So I agree with you NEIL! and it's the seem here in Belgium with the Food and everything else ,and it's time something has to be done about It I think!!! " Monda"

MR NEIL YOUNG, sorry I misspelled your name before, English isn´t my first language, I´m from Argentina, you wouldn´t believe what feed lots are doing to our beautiful prairy rivers, wich (a geologyst friend told me) have taken 80.000 years to dig it´s course, I´ve seen some of them dissapear in 40 years, nothing lives on them anymore.

RIGHT ON NEAL!!! always common sense,(the rarest of all senses, my mother used to say), comes to mind a futuristic movie I once saw, that doesn´t seem so far away anymore, a guy walks into the supermarket, and there is endless aisles of pink or light blue boxes labeled , FOOD.

Tthe same with green or yellow bottles labeled , DRINK.
