  • I completely apologize, if that came across as rude! Im just a very opinionated dental student! lol Its good to see people like yourself in the youtube community care about their dental care!

  • No worries, I didn't find it rude.

  • Ive had a situation, similiar to yours! Let me reiterate the first statement, "xylitol will help prevent cavities but as far as curing them its almost impossible to recalcify the teeth unless you catch the decay at an early stage!

  • Sure, I know that is what is being said. However, I do not find it effective or natural. That's just my opinion and experience.

  • Have you ever tried xylitol? That seems to be the best alternative in cavity prevention!

  • Yes, I used to chew a natural xylitol gum and used a natural xylitol toothpaste and mouthrinse. It always made my teeth feel more sensitive and when I finally bought some xylitol to use for sweetning it made me feel incredibly tired and out of it. After further esearch I do not believe there is any concrete evidence that it is good for cavities and that it is not a true natural food. I stay away now.

  • I'm so glad I stumbled across your videos! I've been asking myself this question for the last two months, "how can I cure my cavities naturally"?

I haven't listened to all three parts...as soon as I get my babies down I will!

  • Yes...I believe I'd heard something similar along the lines of what you are saying about xylitol.
