GASMAN (1997): Director- Lynne Ramsay
This is quite a harsh short film, which deals explicitly with the mundanities of life and is set in Scotland in a depression. It centers on 2 children being taken by thier father to a Christmas party, alongside his other children, who are unbeknownst to one another. The film encapsulates it's audience in a story with no explicit plot or backstory, it merely allows you to sit back and spectate. Whilst never quite gathering itself up to it's full potential it is
