Joanna Durbin of CI's Climate Community and Biodiversity Alliance (CCBA) discusses the importance of adopting good policies and practices for reporting on Safeguards for REDD+.
Drawing on CI's field experience and scientific and policy expertise, staff members from nearly 15 countries are participating in the meeting to inform and advise national governments and key stakeholders on the role that natural ecosystems must play for effective climate change mitigation and adaptation.
