  • i was definitely going to buy that last one, lol its amazing, but then the price..... too bad, ill just buy a different guitar cheaper somewhere else, itll sound just as good if i get the right one... -note to proguitarshop, EVERYTHING IS TOO OVERPRICED!!!!!- i dont really care if it's name brand or not as long as it's good and stays good

  • @222131313222 Fender actually lowered the price by $100 for 2010.

  • Fender > Gibson = my opinion

  • @afsartori By "which in my opinion is the case" I mean that there are reasons to consider them boutique.

  • @StratmasterB I don't know where you get these ideas from, but I don't want to argue about weather these brands can be considered boutique or not, which in my opinion is the case, even though they produce standard models as part of their business. So tell me, why is the electronics of the deluxe strat so bad? Since you skipped the other question, I assume that you could't substantiate your first argument about buying an american standard strat. I still believe that the deluxe is a better buy.

  • @afsartori Dude I am glad you like the deluxe it is a good guitar for a casual player who has never had a great strat. PRS is not a boutique brand neither is Carvin. I like Carving but they are mass produced and not well set up at the factory.

  • @StratmasterB I know that 1500 € is not such a big amount of money for a guitar, expecially if we are talking about an instrument for a professional musician, and if we compare with boutique models from brands such as Carvin, PRS and Suhr which are quite expensive, but a Fender Strat for this price has to be a respectable one.

  • @StratmasterB Let's do the math. How much would you have to pay for an american standard strat in your country and how much would you spend to replace the electronics (everything), the tuners and eventually the bridge? Also, I am curious about why do you say the electronics and noiseless pickups that come with the Deluxe strat are bad. If you buy a relatively cheap sports car and pimp it, it's acceptable. But if you spend 150-300 k€ with a Ferrari you expect it to be perfect. That's simply it.

  • @afsartori I would have to replace all the electronics including the pickups on the deluxe they suck IMO, so it is cheaper for me to start with an American Strat I come out cheaper with a Strat tailored made for me.
