my dog doesnt shed but he has alot of matted hair will this get it out ?

Just bought one and it's amazing. My dog even likes it! It does not hurt and no more that fur in your clothes and furniture.

holy crap is that even real? tomorrow i am heading to petsmart to get myself the furminator.

I had my doubts at first like many others. Believe it or not but this thing actually works. My Springer Spaniel was shedding fur all over the place and this helped immensely. I was worried that it may hurt the dog because of the sharp looking teeth but she loves it every time i used it. Get it from eBay though. You'll find it much cheaper there.

@roxy949 It's really not. I bought one and it works wonders. It's not painful at all. There are no blades or anything. I used to use those wire brushes and those things do seem painful. If you run it along your skin, the wire brushes hurt, but you can run a Furminator across your skin and nothing. No blades, nothing sharp, but it works amazingly well. Even less sharp than a regular haircomb.
