Recipe:
Strawberries: cool
8 oz. Package Cream Cheese: softened
1/2 cup powdered (confectioners) sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla (pure or extract)
Meltable chocolate, usually found in the produce section near the strawberries.
Mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla in mixing bowl or electric mixer. Put into a piping bag or a ziplock bag with a corner cut out.
For the strawberries, cut the tops off so that the strawberry can sit flat on the cutting board or plate with the tip pointing up. Make X cuts in the strawberry tip, making sure NOT to cut all the way down.
Pipe the cream cheese mixture into the slits made in the strawberries. Add as much or as little of the mixture per your taste. Melt the chocolate in your microwave EXACTLY AS INSTRUCTED! If the chocolate gets too hot, it will burn the chocolate and make it un-usable.
Pour the melted chocolate over the strawberries and place in refrigerator for one hour to set.
