@touretul Mae geri keage is a front snap kick, mae geri kekomi is a front thrust kick. Either can go to the face. Kekomi is more like a push kick, keage quickly snaps in and back.

I belive this is Mae Geri Kekomi. Keage is by whiping to the face. Kekomi is by pushing. Same as Yoko Geri.

@LiNaK37 Anderson Silva's trainer for his mae geri was steven seagal. seagal said that he did not want the kick done as per normal where the knee is lifted upwards like as done by kagawa sensei. his kick leads with the foot not the knee, so I think its somewhat changed compared to standard shtokan waza.
