@sangolt88 Major innovations in internal combustion engine design are nearing production readiness. 90 Mpg is a little far-fetched, but certainly 40 or 50 mpg for a V8 or V8 equivalent power would not be unreasonable. Look up the Scuderi engine and also HCCI technology.

@mypalrocco Yeah, those are not unlike my sentiments. I took the test drive before I bought it, and thought, "This is awesome! I have to get it!". I'm actually getting rid of it soon, though in favor of a better-built, better looking and more pawerful Geo Tracker that I'm putting together. I've been working on it so frantically that I have not shot any video yet. It's about time I revealed the secret, though.

a 13hp car? good crap works better than i would have thought. those little yanmars have alot of torque. i have a 1982 john deere compact tractor with a 2T80 yanmar engine rated at 16hp, it sure has alot of useable power for being so small

here in Europe are sold some small cars with kubota, yanmar and lombardini 2 cylinder diesel engine called "mopedcars". We can drive since we are 14 the model with 2 places and since we are 16 the powerful model with 4 places with the motorbike driving licence. They are common because teen can drive it since the are 14 and also thanks to the automatic transmission, their small dimensions and their fuel economy. What you have done is exatly a sort of "mopedcar", great idea!

Dude, I wish you could have put gforced induction on it. Im sure its gone now. forced induction probably would've made it go faster than 60 miles per hour or even more in that!!
