I agree - way too smooth for first time all-grain. *grin* My first all-grain was this recipe too but I had to deal with a major storm that came from nowhere. Naturally the winds and rain flew through the garage door where I was working - some fun that was. NOT!
Anyway, curious as to how yours came out. On mine I boiled the Cascade hops 45 min. and wished I just pitched my Safale US-05 yeast as directed instead of re-hydrating.
