Any citizen has multiple identities; this identity can be based on sex, religion, proffesion, ethinicity, country of birth, income level, place of residence, nationality, place of work etc. I don't know why ethinicity is so capitalized in Ethiopia among the so many identities that defines every single person.
Ben thank you for this fascinating interview you did with his Excellence Prime Minister Meles Zenawi, it was resounding to hear the Prime Minister to define what Ethiopiawent means. Ethiopiwent, means when you respect yourself (your identity, ethnicity) then you have much respect to the whole Ethiopians. Ethiopiawent doesnt mean speaking one language or praising one ethnicity rather it is respecting nations and nationality of every Ethiopian.
wey ben! i like it, you look as if you are in an informal chat with your friend. simple and candid question and discussion. God please you man. we owe you!
Long live PM Meles Zenawi. What a down to earth leader. The best leader ever. Thanks Ben.
