From my seminar entitled ANTI-Social Media I present case studies and observations on Facebook and the blurring line between professional and personal life.
I struggle with the way in which employers limit online participation for their employees. I can understand not wanting to be associated with certain things especially offensive and controversial content. However what I see a lot of is just blanket bans. I have friends who are teachers who have so much to offer but are limited by policy. Which to me is crazy because if the internet has a selling point it must to be its ability to share knowledge and information!
