Mike Bloomberg King of New York "Democracy is for sale" painting goes to Clayton Patterson and the Outlaw Art Museum on the Lower East Side. http://www.corbisimages.com/Enlargement/Enlargement.aspx?id=42-24086000&c...

Clayton Patterson had my poster lampooning Mike and asks the question"Is Democracy for Sale?" in his window for so many months and it is still up. The window gates are often down so Mike looks like he is behind bars.

I interview Clayton Patterson on why believes this third term is in a sense Mike's just dessert. Listen to Clayton's unique insights from the Lower East Side.

Note: He is the subject of a documentary "Captured" and I looked it up in ITunes and it has rave reviews!
Check out the documentary Captured.

Clayton talks about corruption, DOB and the Lower East Side....He talks about school children here in NYC that do not even have computers and more...so tune it and hear a unique perspective from the Lower East Side.

King Mike Bloomberg spends a record amount of money for an underwhelming win. Do the math and if Mike had agreed to a cap on spending it sure looks like he would have lost. The media jumped the gun and had a script. The fact was the race was very close and Thompson did extremely well with a small percentage of what Bloomberg had.
Mike's win is a continued loss of New Yorkers....
This means more middle class people and small businesses will be getting their moving vans and Mike Bloomberg will be sending me a one way ticket out of here.

It was estimated by one journalist Bloomberg spent $166 dollars per voter but that is not true. There was no trickle down sub zero trickle down

  • Stuyvesant Town tenants kicked ass in the courts. I so hope the ripple effect from this will be felt by all the greedy scumbag landlords and developers across the city. I hope Gloomy is familiar with the cliche "Be careful what you wish for" because he just may get it...where it hurts the most. I love people like like Clayton, he tells it like is with no window dressing. He reminds me of the kind of people that New York used to represent more of. Please give him my kind regards. 8)

  • Very true and Bill Thompson slammed Mike Bloomberg with Stuy Town. It was beautiful to watch. Clayton is right on. See the link for "Captured" in the text portion. It will resonate for you.

    Thanks again! best, S

  • wow, he's a pretty wise guy.....i'm sure he truly appreciates that gift....i'm envious! :)

funny about the stuyvesant comment.....it has been on my agenda for research since blackrock is part owner.......

  • Fascinating -- You must keep me in the loop!!!!!!

  • If you see comments by TonyAvella it is not the council member but a cyber stalker. He knows I have contacted the NYPD, Google and YouTube, even lawyers as well as Tony Avella and he doesn't care. He talks about Mike Bloomberg and celebrating with him. Time for me to contact Mike at City Hall about being harassed...

  • We have a new one coming up next week on the location he talks about -- we want to do more the tsunami of community crushing development that was reckless, stupid and greedy -- reminds me of the economic tsunami, the mortgage melt down etc.
