The only problem with your logic is that Bullwhip Guy was yelling at religious people.

Religious people going to worship, and religious people who were supposed to help people worship.

Bullhorn Guy yells at random people on the street. A mixture of religions, lifestyles, and beliefs.

Bullwhip Guy didn't yell at people on the street. Bullwhip Guy loved people on the street and yelled at people in the temple who were getting in the way of people who wanted to worship.

I understand the distinction, however the problem is the degree to which Rob Bell dismissed the Bullhorn guy. Bell decided to attack the words being used such as, "sin," "hell," "judgment," etc. instead of the method per say. Bell attacked the message as well as the messenger.

Other Christian's are not the enemy. The reason the world doesn't like Christina's is because of unloving people like you. I'm sure your pride will not permit you to see this problem with all the effort you have made to attach another Christian. But you are hurting the kingdom of God.

Jesus said that those who strive to live godly in Christ will be persecuted. It's not if, it's when. I'm not attacking other Christians. First of all, Rob Bell isn't a Christian according to teh Bible. I mean, h rejects core Biblical doctrines. The relativity of truth? Jesus says, He's the way the truth and the life.

I would bet that people who come to the knowledge of God's grace, love, and forgiveness through bullhorn guys are the exception and not the rule. Too often in our practices and even political policies, we make the exception the rule. I celebrate those who were reached by bullhorn guy. But I guarantee that for every person reached by bullhorn guy there are hundreds of others turned away.

I don't think this video is defending the bullhorn guy. The main problem with bullhorn guy is that he proclaims hell without making it reasonable. He doesn't proclaim the law of God, or the grace of Jesus. I think the problem with Rob Bell's nooma video on Bullhorn guy is that he (Bell) attacks him (bullhorn guy) for a different reason. Rob Bell thinks that it's wrong to proclaim sin and hell, etc. That's not the problem with the bullhorn guy, but Bell thinks it is. This vid exposes that folly.

The bullhorn guy has his place, but his message isn't meant to be screamed. When people have religion shoved in their face it makes them hate us. It’s a message that should be told in a respectful and personal way. It has to be told so that people can relate to it and understand it. If you just scream repent, people have no clue what to repent from or why. Until we understand the person, we can’t answer their questions and lead them to fully understand the gospel. Thats all i think rob meant...

rob bell himself talks about anger! rigious anger in his video store. and you are realy off your being extremely judgemental and jesus was talking to the people of the church! not to non believers he would have never been preaching and yelling and condeming non belivers ever! this proves nothingwhy put so much work into a video just to mock other christians who you think are wrong your just out to condemn other people, instead of standing against something lets start standing for something.

you apparently do not understand the distinction. the good news oh by the way is that heaven intends peace on earth. (reference the angels at jesus' birth) somehow many have begun to believe that their righteousness is not really like poop on a rag. if you believe you have nothing to repent for, well there's your problem. the solution will be found on your knees and/or face and knees before your maker. bullhorn guys everywhere should try it until they see the beam in their own eye.
