Jan Bell & Howell Military 16MM Projector

This is a Jan Military projector custom designed for the miliatry. It sold new for a few thousand, about 5 times the price of standard Bell & Howell school projector. This projector still sells for around 500.00 up to around 1700.00 on eaby today. I found this years ago at the Electronics Recyling Center for 5.00. The Seeburg jukebox in this clip is exactly like my 1954 Seeburg model R

Typical Joint Army Navy gear. I find old JAN radio equipment at ham swap meets and it is always buit like a tank!

Very interesting... looks they were built like the Seeburg Tormat units - to withstand a nuclear blast as the joke goes... I imagine they had in mind these things could get some very rough handling. COOL Seeburg in the clip like yours! Nope you won't be wearing out this projector anytime soon, doubt it's possible

haha.. I've got one too, just needs another bulb. Going to use mine to playback my 16mm footage when I can afford to have it developed. Awesome projector. Respect.
