Awesome Pedal. Sound on Sound. You can create some incredible ambient, guitar soundscapes with this thing. Worth every penny. They discontinued this pedal for reasons that I am unaware of (file under: God knows why?)... check... Ebay...

Used by many artists from ISIS to Radiohead. Somewhere in this vid you might notice a glitch effect that sounds simliar to a track from Radiohead's Hail to the Thief record. (go to sleep?) The original effect was achieved through a program called MAX/Msp. Fantastic program. But the same glitch-type effect can made using this pedal... as you can hear. Pretty cool.

These videos really don't showcase ANYTHING BUT... the effects pedal itself. I'm not trying to win any guitar playing awards here... I recorded all of these quickly, through a tiny amp that has a belt-clip on the back LOL so yea...

Once I get my Marshall back, I'm going to record videos with better sound quality using a Shure Sm57 and a recording program. I guess I'll combine some effects as well.

  • I've never seen nor heard of this "bass edition" RV-3 you're suggesting.

Every bassist I've seen use an RV-3 uses the standard one, and Google searches turn up nothing. Either you're recommending a ridiculously obscure pedal, or you must be a bit mistaken. Do you have a link to one?

Nice video though, you're getting great noises out that thing. Awesome pedal.

  • @TheDugface i was actually kidding. sorry.

  • can you play a u2 song with this live vertigo that need 480 ms of delay?

  • @dnnysrock harder to dial in an exact milisecond value with just the knobs... but yea i enjoy a good edge fling now and again with this pedal. plays it nicely... perhaps not as chimey or crisp maybe? but hey... its cheaper than a tc electronics rack unit.

  • @MrJohnnydel FUCKING LOL!! xD

  • Thumbs up for CAT!!!

  • @calmoth20 your english is fine. the rv5 incorporates bass nuances. so no need for a separate edition.

  • @MrJohnnydel And the Rv5 would need a bass version too? cause the rv3 has been discontinuated XP (sorry for my poor english).

  • @calmoth20 yea. you can't miss it. it says "BASS VERSION" right on the pedal in hot pink letters. looks kinda nice against the grey pedal. pink and grey. ying and yang kind of thing i guess.

  • Oh thaxs men.
