wait a second! Okay so I want to become a dentist does this mean that I will be doing this kind of stuff?! Or is this just a speciallty job like an oral surgeon?? Because I hate this.. : /

@jerseyyy21 I shadowed an OMFS and a Neurosurgeon who specialized in spinal surgery and I have to say that I agree with you. I got more nervy watching a wisdom tooth extraction than I did watching the neurosurgeon expose the freaking spinal cord (mind you this was AFTER he dug through the spinal column).

Extractions should be less painful then a cavity fixing.Especially when dentist dont want to give you anestetics.In Serbia dentists are morons,they always prefer to massacre yourself while they are cleaning cavity instead of giving you anestetics and solving problem in short time.

It wasn't painful at all. novocaine and nitrous put me in a good place.
