Will it die? Ford Taurus log part 1

I've been going to school for Automechanics, so I've decided to start this video series.

Basically, I have a somewhat beat up '96 Ford Taurus. A lot of people say Tauruses suck. Even I said it when I first had this. But after I started taking care of it, it didn't have frequent problems like when I first bought it.

It's got over 114,000 miles on it right now. I want to see if it will last until I get out of school, and can secure myself a good job somewhere as an Entry Level Technician.

Along the way, I'll make more videos to show you how to do some basic maintenence on your car as well as show how some repairs are done (though, hopefully I won't need to do too many repairs).

In my next video, I'll show you how the side of my car is beat up, and the strange noise the drivers window makes due to the damage on the door.

I dont care how bad you think these cars are. i loved mine, and it saved my life. I was in a bad accident with my 99 Taurus. it had 127,000 miles on it and had it in the shop every few months., i was driving home one day and some lady pulled out in front of me while i was traveling 65 mph, and there was little damage done to my Taurus,even though it was still totaled, her 2010 honda was destoryed.

I actually don't think these cars are bad. After my initial "I have a car" excitement died down I started to hate it, but after a while it grew on me. I miss my Taurus.

i'd like to see your evidence to back that up because i think you're bull shitting. don't get me wrong my 98 taurus is poorly designed, but its still reliable and has decent pick up

@dmx011 ford taurus se 2007,fires but wont start...comp says alls good new pump,filter,,700.00$ later=the mass air intake senser,,,ready 4 this? HAD A FLY COT IN IT,LOL :-P thank god i just do the work and dont own a ford,lol

my 98 corolla has over 200,000 miles on it. still runs like a champ.

Mine had 138,xxx miles on it as well, lasted from March 2010 to October 24th 2010
