that game looks solid.

64k in terms of Atari 2600 is nothing but a waste of space ;-)

The Commodore 64 version was really badly optimized - the gameplay is nerla non-existent to be honest. Another missed opportunity since the GFX and sound was excellent (even better than coin-op original!!!) but it's clear the Spectrum version done by Joffa Smith was so much more playable and a real pleasure to play instead of this beta demo...

The sound !!!

Always thought that myself at the time!

That`s a big lol. You totally failed as most of us. XD

great game but ridiculously hard. I couldve used a save game option after you go clear of the two levels and run amongst those trucks carrying missiles
the music is first class as well, thanks mate for the video

Because it sounded like "Russian Attack".

Also dude since you seem to need some help-
1. Fashion a pedal to use for your secondary weapon - this is key. The perfect thing is an atari 2600 joystick with the stick removed. Flip it upside down and plug it into the other joystick port. Now you have a secondary weapon pedal.
2- Alternate levels constantly. You need to keep moving up and down or they'll kill you.

THanks for the tips, but back in the day I didn't have a pedal and stayed on the base floor and could go through the whole level witout dying! Level 2 used to get to me the most and level 3...impossible for me :/
