as i listened, impressed with your knowledge of the subject, my spirit kept prompting the question - what is in the Bible of the distruction of the Temple *(70 AD) ? is the written record limited to historical events = i think u would agree Saul/Paul changed over time within his own writting... so, what happened after Acts 21 ? did he embrace his Roman character and forsake his tribe of Benjamin ? what abt his wife - how did that affect his Theology ? is it correct that Lydia was not a Jew ?

I wish I could claim that one :) but one day my mother had a canadian religious program on, and an author they were interviewing pointed this out. i was, like, wow... that is so interesting, never heard any christian view that text in this way, as it raises a whole lot of questions, given how that text is typically used. of course, from my point of view, it underscored my position that Paul is completely misread by christians, even the parts he got right.
