Ah, Cry the Beloved Country! What happened to Nigeria? How did we squander our opportunities and who are the maggots that infested the body politik of this once promising Nation; looted our commonwealth and destroyed our collective destiny? So sad how much we lost in so short a time. Recently, I met an Indian gentleman who told me how he fought so hard to emigrate to Nigeria in the late 1970s and early 80s as an academic to teach in one of the Universities.

I remember sitting on the carpet as a child in the living room in Enugu with the whole family glued to the telly...Great days. NTA has really come a long way.
