@36pratham Kallis has even won matches with ball :) . FYI Kallis has better AVG and more tons than sachin in 3rd and 4th innings rescuing the team , 4th and 5th day are particularly said not to be easy to bat on and this is when ordinary (as you say) guys like Kallis and Dravid rise up to save the team.

@36pratham kallis never had a good opening pair to give him a foundation neither a good mid order to hold the innings together , You say india never had seamers so what SA didnt had any (even decent) spinner for that matter , You say Dravid is ordinary well that shows how blindly you follow cricket (or sachin only ) Dravid took the pressure off Sachin mate . Dravid has rescued the team on numerous occasions ,

@36pratham dude i cant give you a list where his runs saved his team from a sure loss , Unless you are blind you can easily see i wrote "I dont need to go back ages" i just gave a recent example , moreover 90s had few outstanding stars (atleast better than todays) namely Kumble , srinath , Ganguly , Dravid , VVS , name me one good batsman kallis had ?

@36pratham i mean last 5 years just 2 100s in victory lols... if sachin would had got the team what ponting and kallis got he would have had more then 40 100s in victories easily....

@Skycruiserify pls tell me how many matches has ponting won after the retirement of those great player after 2007 its been almost 5 years pls list how many series or matches he has won... look at his performance how much he struggling low as lack of support from other players...

in 2005 he has won 6 matches in 100s and in 2006 7 so total 13 100s in 2 years.. pls tell me why some one who has 13 100s in 2 years in victory has 2 just 100s in vic in last 2 years... lols

@Skycruiserify and even after that knock... pretty avg till 2004.... thats y back to for 12, 13 see his 1st 30 centuries that came in tremndous pressure and see the performance of the team in that match decide ur self how can 1 man won with such pathtic team and specialy bowlers...

while kallis always got the great team.... there is always centurion or at least 1 or 2 50 maker with kallis noot the same case with sachin.....

@Skycruiserify in 90s we in one series india opens with mongia then in next series with sidhu then in next series with majerekar, laxman so on..... india was the worst batting side in 90s... only azhar was hee to support but that too only in indian pitches see his record outside india it sucks... dravid came in 96 but was very ordinary if u remove his performance against zimbabwe.. till 2001...laxman was nobody till that knock of 281 against aus in 2001 his avg was just 27...

@Skycruiserify lols u just come up with 1 thats it lols... looks like u started watching cricket after 2004 or 05 only before comenting on sachin 1st see the era 90s when he was just like a lone player in the team... india is definately greatest batting side today but not till 2004...

in 2001 it started improving... and after 2004 it became strongest.... but for 1st 12, 13 years sachin wa sjust like lone player in the team.....

@36pratham I think India has the best batting line up dont they ? ( i heard many of you guys saying so) so practically sachin knows someone will score if he fails , while Kallis never had such a batting line up to support him , their bowling always (till tahir came) lacked a specialist spinner.
