The state began harassing the farmers because their store was not up to code. There is such a myriad of regulations about what you can and can't sell, and how you can package them. And yes, there are many restrictive regulations, even for selling eggs from small flocks. Those who are able to sell from roadside stands, just haven't caught the eye of bureaucrats with nothing better to do.

Florida, and other states, makes it difficult for small farms to sell direct to consumer.

The general population in countries like the U.S. better wise up. They keep pinching pennies and buying at Walmart & Target Superstores instead of supporting local farmers and are setting themselves up for a life of disease, low energy and big ag only options.

@LiveWorkDream When people can grow a tomato in Canada..and people can raise and sell beef cattle in South America cheaper than people can in the United States because of the rules, regulations, and laws that have been put on the American Farmer...we are in trouble. Our own goverment has let us down big time. The biggest problem we have is our own goverment.

Again, a rifle is no match for the weapons the US military has. Therefore, whenever people say that they intend to defend themselves with a gun, usually what they really mean to say is, "those bastards are going to kill me, but I'm going to take as many of them with me as I can." Think about that. Is that what Yeshua did? No. Instead, as his enemies killed him, he prayed for them. That is living by faith. Prepare your family, spiritually, for what's coming. We can only be saved through faith.

OOCASHFLOW - I understand what you are saying; but that is how the worldly people think. Our "home" is in heaven; not here. The way I protect my family is not with a rifle. Instead, I protect them by making sure that they put their faith in Yeshua. Yeshua was hated; and if we truly follow him then we will be hated, too. Yeshua was killed; and he did not resist. He set the example by laying down his life. If it comes to that, we must be willing to do the same. Vengence must be left to Yahweh...

DREWDAWG50 - I'm with you; but what good is a rifle against aircraft carriers, tanks, fighter jets, foreign merceneries (Filipinos and Mexicans who are given citizenship to join the military), drones, and robotic soldiers. I'm sorry to break it to you; but we are toast. The Civil War was lost. Yahshua the Messiah is the only way to be saved. If we lay down our life, we will get it back again (in heaven). That's the only real solution. We do not take up arms to protect the flesh.

The corporate agribusiness (multi national, of course) has a strong lobby in DC. They are the ones getting government hand outs.  People like me can't get shit but I refuse to give up my place for some housing development.
