MARCEL MARCEAU TRIBUTE by Gregg Goldston

This 6-minute video Tributes the Life and Art of Marcel Marceau. It was created by Gregg Goldston and uses only Goldston's personal photos and video footage taken during the 20+ years that Goldston worked under Marceau. Most of the photos were taken from the theater wings by Goldston while he was touring as Assistant to Marceau. (Holding the Title Cards for Marceau) Ted Hardin filmed the video and was from a once in a career performance that Mr. Marceau gave called: BIP SPEAKS. It was in Marceaus words, the first time he spoke to an audience while in his Bip Costume. This performance was a benefit that Mr. Marceau held for the Goldston Mime Foundation.

Many thanks for his existence. Marcel Marceau was brilliant in a lot of ways. As an acting student, I had the honor and privilege of seeing him live and listening to him talk for a couple of hours in a lovely intimate space the next day. He was an amazing spirit among us. Truly missed.

Gregg came to our school... I was so shocked and amazed that someone that famous and talented would come to our small town. His performance was absoultley breathtaking, and it was so realistic! I thought it wouldnt impress me, but it was hilarious, breathtaking, brilliant, and fantastic!!! I loved how he included the audience. He came to our school Friday, Oct.2, in the morning. The whole school was so honoured to have him there!!! Thank-you so much Greg, it meant alot!
