It'd be great if you made another video with a better camera. Nice tones.

i bought mine from amazon, and it was this pickup, and it said in the description used by dime in all his washburns, it says bill lawrence U.S.A. on them
are they real BL`s or the lawsuit copys?

Great video. I want to swap out my "Duncan designed" pickups for one of these bl-500 or "Dimebucker". Would you know how I could install them in my Jackson dx10 or point me in the right direction. I would like to install them myself. Thankx man and keep on rocking!

I believe most of these have the same schematics you'd find on the duncan site-I think :-)
I'm so non-technical...I have always had my tech do this stuff. You probably could ask for schematics from the Lawrence site too.

Hmm, dude, comparing these against the Dimebuckers, what are the pro's and cons and which is better for groove and thrash metal? Also does it have a nice clean sound?

You know-try to play both, and just use your ears. For what I like, I still stuck with the BL's. You may have different pickups in different guitars too-you just never know with these things :-)

Nice hybrid picking you did in the beginning. Since Dimebag (rip) used BLs they must be high output. Do you have any thoughts comparing these pickups with EMGs like the 81s or some of the hot Seymour Duncans?

I think-if I remember correctly the the BL's are probably more on the treble side than a lot of the hot pickups. But I haven't played a duncan in so long...
