Interesting Carlo,
I have tried to maintain an even space between index finger and thumb then just rotate the wrist.This seems to work,but takes away from any personality or individual style.If you find Rob G4LMW's cootie video you can see that he uses his index finger as a spacer and touches the key with thumb and middle finger!
