There is something a lot of people need to know. The things people need to understand 90% of DBAs do not write to a network drive automatically most of the time because you can't SQL wants to write locally due to permission issue. I love your coverage of all the specs about the sql compression etc. I have wrote a nice tutorial with sql server (includes a .BAT). I am currently writing a batch script that takes intermittent back ups (1 a month) and differentials.. very shortly.
