I live in a urban city area and have a cat that had 3 kittens and there all indoors and I wish more than anything in the world for my cats to have an protected area outside to enjoy.. Just watching these make's me upset that I'm not doing enough for my cats. But I rent and don't own my house.. But I'm thinking of a way to have an opening out my window into a nice little play area out side will see..

i wish i could make one of these because i have two cats a 3 year old and a 5 month old and the 3 year old is my baby and i couldnt stand the thought of him getting hurt but sadly im only 14 and also sadly i saw my cat get hit by a car when i was 7 :(

@juillet64 you should post something in your neighbourhood. You help someone build and they can help you build. Everyone can share cost of materials and share the workload. I bet a lot of cat owners would pitch in. Anything to keep the kitties safe.

I want tto plant mint and catnip in my enclosure that I just ordered. Is mint safe? What other plants are safe? I am so excited to get mine and build it! I have 6 cats, and we will be putting it against the house and putting a cat door in a basement window.

Whoever created this was truly a cat lover. He knows his stuff. I love it!! Just remember that if you ever get a kitten, you'll need to wait until he is bigger. Otherwise he could escape the openings.
