  • I can see your point. All three religions come from the same area, but only Islam and Judaism are claiming much the same ground as domains. This has to cause friction.

From my perspective, the real issue isn't religion at all. To me too many people are using religion as an excuse to hate each other.

This is one of the main reasons why I follow my own spiritual path. I'll walk on my own and put my faith in the Divine.

  • 2 Did Gabriel really do this in a historical way.. I don't know.. you can't prove that.. you weren't there so it must be a faith issue and not a proof sort of thing or it could be build on sand? Just saying fellah.. :-) and this goes both ways so I'm not judgin ya..

  • err. ' i can't find'.. i can find extant verification that this was the same story.. from other ancient sources.. ** is it one point of view?, of course it is.. so is yours and your book has a particular point of view and I actually like the parts that pretty much say Osama is a bad guy.. and if it's a good book somewhere it says to protect your neighbor.. 1

  • Muhammad was actually illiterate, he was taught the quran by the angel gabriel..

    Ok well that explains it..

St. Paul was just the opposite.. he was a well educated upwardly mobile Roman citizen and Jewish Pharisee who says he knocked on his ass (or off his ass) and got this stuff from the horses mouth (so to speak)

  • however it's very nice to have a pleasant respectful debate on these subjects and to learn about stuff that I don't know about Islam.. it's getting to be a very small world and we need to learn about each other.

  • unfortunately I think vids like this one usually just have an axe to grind.. I watched 10 minutes or so and there is good reason why most vids are limited to 10 minutes because that's all the attention span us weak minded westeners have.. mea culpa :-)

  • 'Islam Christianity Judaism'

I think theologically that Christianity is quite different than both Islam and Judaism because of the scandal of the cross in that they both reject that whole story.. I don't think Jews claim Jesus didn't exist and most probably think he was a swell guy but certainly not God and that's the key difference. But theologically outside of Jesus I see Islam and Judaism as very close.. two brothers and Christianity is the real bastard thank you very much.. :-)

  • Osama Bin Laden.. now there's a guy that should think about what it means to fear Allah..

  • Muslims and Jews hate each other because of Palestine.

If my history serves me right they both should hate the Brittan's as they're the ones who messed up that whole situation in the first place..

But here actually I think it's a deeper thing and where the Bible and probably the Qu'ran also really has something to say about bad blood between brothers.. which of course is petty human sin.
