http://www.PearlGirlWorld - buy freshwater pearl jewelry shipped in a silk gift bag from Maui.

Video: Golden Retreiver on Ulua (oo-loo-uh) Beach in Maui.

Pearls have long been traditional at weddings. Fathers give them to daughters, brides give them to bridesmaids, grooms give them to their wives to be. In fact my grandfather gave my grandmother a set of pearls when they were engaged. In recent years, the wedding trend tended to be platinum and white gold, shiny and clean. Today, there is a comeback to the luster and shine of pearls. In my opinion they are a perfect fit for any wedding and match the sheen of wedding dresses and bridal themes.

The current bridal favorites are crystals and pearls. Take a Look. I think the way that pearls compliment bridal attire is perfect. The rehearsal dinner is a great time for a bride to recognize the friendship and love of her bridesmaids with a pearl bridal set that compliments the bridesmaids dresses. Not only will it accessorize them beautifully on the special day, but they will be able to save and wear the jewelry as a sentimental keepsake (let's be honest, much longer than they'll want to keep your table centerpiece.)

The beauty of cultured pearls is that they are affordable, come in perfect lustrous colors for a wedding, and that they are truly unique pieces of jewelry. Of course, the less pearls are blemished the more costly they become. Going with a high luster, beautifully colored pearl that is only slightly blemished (say 85% unblemished) would be the best way to get "bang for your buck." Especially if you are buying for 5 bridesmaids.
