This is the first episode in the Globe Reacher WebCast series for the Globe Reacher at http://www.GlobeReacher.com/ a subsidary of Reaching the Globe http://www.ReachingTheGlobe.com/

A simple rubber band can greatly increase the value of your pan and tilting shots.

Special Thanks to Martin Beal for showing us this trick. http://www.bealmedia.com/

  • I saw this trick at SAICFF Academy last year, now we have elastics on our church cameras!

I wish I had a tripod nice enough to use it on my self though!

  • Yep, I was right there. Chances are I was standing next to you. :D

  • Ha! Ought to tell my mom and grandma that. Their videos make us all seasick! :) Thanks! Nice tip. Got any more?

  • U got my 5!

  • That's really neat, Daniel! I would try it if we had a tripod for our video camera...but we don't.

  • Neat trick! Necesity IS the mother of invention! This one I'd label, "SHORT-CUT TO A JERKS SOLUTION !" Well done, we liiiiiiiii...k!

  • Wow ... great idea!

Thanks for posting this; looking forward to seeing more in the future!

  • Nice titling; nice video work (looks like a tutorial should); nice work on the double footage part, really liked that. Well done. :-)

  • Wow, Daniel - nicely done! I shall have to remember that if I ever am able to begin film-making.

  • NICE, Daniel! I will certainly have to try that. Now if I only had the fluid head and the camera to go on it instead of my little ZR and a consumer tripod! Ah well, the Lord will give me what he wants me to have when he wants me to have it...

Thanks so much for doing this--I look forward to seeing more!

    In His Service,

    John Calvin Young
