@federricoilgrande Per questo ruolo il suo volume mi sembra adeguato. Anzi, trovo che la delicatezza del suo canto sia, in particolare in questo brano, più efficace di certi vocioni. La finezza di certe mezze voci e l'equilibrio tra canto e orchestra ottengono un effetto di grande suggestione (per esempio Del Monaco o Corelli, dando una caratterizzazione più "eroica" del personaggio, pur offrendo interpretazioni intense e appassionanti, rischiavano a volte di sacrificare certe finezze musicali)

En esta interpretación Pavarotti maneja la mezzavoce maravillosamente. El manejo técnico y respiratorio de su voz es perfecto. Realmente hace parecer fácil lo difícil. Intrepretativamente es estupendo

I'm not really sure about these accusations of him selling out, I just love to watch him on here, elsewhere and will always listen to his music.

In this clip alone the emotion in his face is so powerful, he is feeling every note as though life itself depended on it?

Not enough times in our lives do we experience true greatness, without doubt Mr Pavarotti posessed it in abundance.

Very sadly no longer with us, we should cherish him, never forget him or the beauty he brought to this world

I first experienced the genius of Luciano Pavarotti during a televised concert from his 25th anniversary tour, from which I believe this is taken?

Looking back, I was just glued to the screen throughout the whole program, it was an incredible thing to witness.

Needless to say, onwards from that day I wanted to hear more by him and others too...so began a journey of discovery which to this day is, and always will be ongoing.
