@almondcoconuts we have to keep perspective. this was the '60s, he's trying to level the playing field by saying that. I feel you though... saying JFK was his only misstep with what actually happend in the future...he kind of essentially predicted black ownership and subversion of that hateful "word". he wasn't speaking of the oppression or the hatred...lenny was fascinated with "words" and their impact. He was taking it as far as a comedian could in the 1950s and 1960s. brave.
