In this event Anshu taught the methods of Togakure Ryu Ukemi Gata, Santo Tanko no Kata, Shinobi Gaeshi Gata as well as the Ninja Biken, Shinobi Iri and Togakure Goton and Doton no jutsu.

There's a Togakure Ryu school near me and I'm considering training there. Is this a good self defence system?

@anvilofcrom I am surprised at the response you got from BudoRyuNinjutsuDojo. It does depend on how good the instructor is but there are not many "bad" ones in this martial art as I understand. I trained in Togakure Ninjutsu for only 2 years so compared to these guys I am certainly a novice,at least in this style. I have trained in other forms of martial arts to a reasonably high level so i am experienced enough to say that Togakure Ninjutsu for self defense is very very effective. its lethal.

@vaiboy55 - does not matter the style of arts that you use for self defense, ---IT ALWAYS COMES DOWN TO THE PRACTITIONER, AND THEIR SKILLS IN THAT ART --- However; if the teacher is not good at teaching it correctly, and physically cannot show the correct taijutsu, than the student will have a hard to utilizing it for self defense regardless of how much ability that they have. ---- selfdefense = any martial art = good teacher = dedicated student, hope that this helps - K.KOBAYASHI

hey, i do jujutsu now and i'm thinkin of doin ninjutsu/taijutsu in bujinkan dojo in brussels (wwwdotbujinkan-bruxellesdotbe­)

and i wonna know if ninpo taijutsu is more effective than jujutsu (as in selfdefense without weapons)
