@ub3n3rss I do the same sort of thing, 30 seconds of high resistance at fast pace, 30 seconds slower pace, I do that for 10 min, then 10 min steady state cardio. Really kicks my butt, I've seen a good improvment in my weight and fitness.

@ub3n3rss I agree with the crosstrainer. Although I usually swap between level 6 as my resting level, and go up to 9 and increase my speed for 2 -3 mins, then go back to 6 for 2 mins, then back to 9. It will make your heart work faster and burn more fat :)

Easy?! It took me over an hour to do 10 sets of these because this exercise kicks your ass and I'm REALLY out of shape

500 calories ??? Never, not doing this maybe if you did it for an hour and cut out the sit down bit !!!

I tried this and I think it works!

I find that HIIT (high intensity interval training) on a crosstrainer works best :) I go at effort level 6 and burn over 300cal in 20 min but after the 20min it is very hard to continue as it is very tiring :L

70 min on the bike in the gym will burn 1000 calories i did it

500 calories my ass
Um, no. Only people weighing 500 pounds will burn 500 calories in 9 minutes doing this workout. I'm embellishing, but you get my point. This will not burn many calories at all actually. The best way to burn a lot of calories in a short period of time, is High Intensity Interval Training on a bike. I burn appox. 300 calories in 20 minutes. But it is very difficult and it is difficult to finish the last 5 minutes because your legs burn.

Um, no. Best workout is Kettlebell snatches which burn 20.2 per minute. That's more than crosscountry skiing uphill at a fast pace. You're sitting in a chair repeatedly, burning about 5 calories per minute.
