If you really believe Lucas understood Star Wars then you are one clueless mofo.
Mon Mothma and the rest of the rebellion had better things to do than save Leia's boyfriend.
Go on, be a terrible Star Wars fan if it makes you happy. Just don't be surprised when you get called out on your bullshit.

Yes, he talks about Star Wars like my grandmother would. She can recognize things in the movie but calls them whatever pops into her head at the time. You can see that he also doesn't understand why Star Wars is popular. Midichlorians is a great example of this. Except the prequels didn't follow the storyline.
She probably just told them not to look for her, since she didn't know how long she would be gone.

It's the story of the Jedi's defeat and Anakin's life. It leads to Eps IV-VI
Wasn't enough space to say: "what makes the force wieldable by force users" but that's what I mean. Also, they're in everyone which (again, novels) disputes that some people's lives are uninfluenced by the Force. And those with higher counts can wield it. It underhandedly explains why only some can bend it.
But those are logical reasons behind questionable aspects (good ones). But there are reasons in the Prequels too.

The basic story is barely there for the most part. Not really how you want to describe the prequels to the greatest trilogy.
There you go again showing your misunderstanding of Star Wars. No, midichlorians are not "what makes the force." A scientific explaination should never have been added to the force.
Since the rebels never did look for her, then they were busy, or she told them not to since it would interfere with their plan. It's just logic, there's almost no logic in the prequels.

How didn't they follow the storyline? Things went in order.
I like the Midichlorian explanation. It is a fact: this is what makes the Force. [It also disputes anti-Force Users in SW novels saying, "The Force bs"] Knowing where Force-wielding comes from doesn't mean we understand its full nature (If that's the "popular" thing: mystery)
That could be true...but, really, that thinking is how I give reasoning for certain scenes in the Prequels. "He/she probably..." [the most logical explanation]
