@Raumance Im sure its not the only video,. But you know that 7 vids are in depth and really dig deep in why these films are awful. You just dont really want to admit you're wrong.

@superhuman295 It was an example, that's not the whole point. Just seems like you try to insult me personally so doesn't seem like a worthwile effort to argue things with you. If youd check my profile and my comments then you coulda saved yourself the trouble of using caps, this is not the only video I comment on.

@Raumance Did you watch the whole vid and JUST GOT THAT OUT OF IT? Wow dude, 7 parts and you didnt even pay attention
-
@superhuman295 Complaining about space ships looking like donuts with a hole in them yeah there's depth.
-
@Raumance What? No depth? Do you leave to make a sandwhich or something, or is it too smart for you?
-
@Raumance The bulk in his review is obviously nitpicking on plot. but thats pretty much what all youtube reviews do anyway.

@Raumance This is NOT an academic review therefore it doesn't have to do anything intellectual at all. As a film student I can tell you that he makes legitimate criticisms suitable for actual academic purposes.
flaws like characterization and film language are pointed out. (no protagonist / looking at the impression of characters and analysing opening sequence)
For a youtube review this is as good as they can get from a non academic source.

Citizen Kane?

I just feel RedLetterMedia doesn't like the episodes and makes humorous reviews of the movies. It's not like an in depth review about the film but rather sticking to small things that can easily be explained. Any movie in history could be ridiculed in the same way as in these reviews.

With people like Spielberg telling Lucas his coat-rack robots who pose as much as threat as a newborn kitten are 'great', it's no wonder he lost the plot.
"The Two Most Effective, clear minded and logical guys, stay on the ship and wait while the clumsy idiot, the slow moving droid, a vulnerable, attractive young woman, and a drunk go wondering around the dangerous city, these two guys would've probably had the part by now"
That pretty much sums up the logic used in all 3 prequels. Way to ruin the franchise George.

I kill myself laughing whenever he shows a still shot of children watching the most boring, talky scenes. i.e. most of the film.
