On Monday, Kiev's delay in paying for gas supplied by Russia led to Moscow cutting supplies to Ukraine. The leaders of the two countries have held talks in an effort to end the disput and Russia has reached agreement with both the Ukrainian President and the Prime Minister. This is why today, when the tension is high again, analysts say the cause of the new row is a power struggle at the heart of Ukraine's government. What do Ukrainian politicians have to say about it all? We are about to find out from one of the top Ukrainian politicians, former Foreign Minister, Boris Tarasuk.
yes, I realized it's Ukraine's fault.

I REALLY hope that was sarcasm. No one in western Europe is freezing because they have reserves that can last them through the entire winter. So, they don't care that much will this be resolved in days, weeks or months. On the other hand, Serbia has reserves for a couple of days, and after that is gonna be very cold, probably with electricity cuts because people will start using electric power for heating and we don't have enough electricity for that. If they don't make an agreement soon...

It was Ukraine who shut down gas delivery to rest of the Europe. I have no idea what is going to happen with us now.

You are welcome. We have no choice but stop supplying. USA have to help Ukraine to solve this problem by printing new money $.

if this tension keeps happening every year, then why not build another pipeline that can handle the capacity through another route? ukraine owns the land with the pipeline. russia doesnt. either work with them or sidestep them. friggin eastern european thinking. the definition of craziness is doing the same thing over and over again and then expecting a different result.

The Ukrainian population pays in time. And here the authorities of Ukraine do not wish to pay in time. But Russia is not obliged cares of the Ukrainian population. It is a duty of the Ukrainian authorities. Therefore to the claim show Yushchenko and Timoshchenko.

The Ukrainian nazis should burn in a hell and boil in a copper with pitch. And the copper with pitch will be warmed up by the Russian gas. Russia for the sake of it will allocate free of charge gas :)
