My son was born at 25 weeks on 11/11/11 and he will be having this surgery tomorrow morning. I thank you for posting this video. It has helped ease some of my fears. I spoke to my son's surgeon and even though he explained it, there's nothing like actually seeing what will be done to my little guy!!

I had this surgery when I was 1 years old and I am 26 right now. it is amazing how little the scar is now then when I had the surgery. my scar is from the middle of the back to the side of my chest and they had to break my ribs to get to the heart. and I have holes where tubes were sticking out of my skin.....
