De eerste melding van brand komt binnen om 15:14 de eerste twee voertuigen zijn onderweg.
Binnen vijf minuten is er al op geschaald naar zeer grote brand. Het zal daarna niet lang duren of GRIP1 en zelfs GRIP2 zijn dan ook van kracht.
Om 18:32 komt dan ook de melding voor het peleton.

Al vroeg tijdens de inzet wordt het gebouw gesloopt. Een binnenaanval was niet mogelijk, de constructie begaf het al snel door de enorme hitte.
Dit was dan ook de enige manier om de brand snel en doeltreffend aan te pakken.
De brandweer is tot een uur of 24:00 bezig geweest met nablussen.
Er is bij de brand gelukkig niemand gewond geraakt.
