The stars showed through the dark sky, illuminating the water. I walked along the boardwalk looking out at the beach. There was a lot on my mind. I sat on the brick wall letting my feet hang. I leaned against the cold metal poll and cried. Everything was crashing and burning. I felt so alone.

"Teigan?"

I knew the voice without turning around.

"Go away Joe. I wanna be alone."

"Teigan come on." He said sitting next to me. He grabbed my hand and I tried to pull away. "You need a friend."

"I don't need anyone."

"You need Kevin!"

"No Joe! I don't need anyone. Especially Kevin" I started to cry again. Joe was making me mad. Why would I need Kevin, when he didn't need me anymore?


"Teigan! I knew you'd be here."

"Save it Ty, I'm not in the mood."

Aside from Joe, Tyler was my best friend; A bit over-dramatic, but an awesome friend. She sat down behind me and put her head on my shoulder. I looked out at the ocean and closed my eyes, feeling the tears stream down my face. I don't know why I came here. This is where Kevin and I had our first kiss. This is where we always went. Maybe it was because I felt safe here.

"He loves you, you know."

"Right Ty, nice way of showing it."

"Yeah, Kevin can be a little stupid with love." Joe said standing up.
"Come on" Tyler said taking my hand and helping me up. "Let's go. It's getting cold. You can stay the night."

Joe wrapped his arm around me and held Tyler's hand. "Let's go girls. I'll walk you home."

Please listen to the song in the video. It was a BIG inspiration for the fanfic. This was an "intro" I guess. Lol Please tell me what you think of it. I'm open to ideas. I have some thoughts in mind but they can change. As this story did. =D

I like the idea that the Jonas Brothers are famous. Because every other fanfic is about being starstruck and hanging out with rockstars and what not. So this is a great. Something different!
