Demolished the 95 huskers? What a load of shit. Open your eyes and don't be ignorant. Sure they had more talent, but the 95 Huskers would never lose to anyone, much less be 'demolished.' And like Carroll said, what a moronic comparison to say Frazier wouldn't play QB in the SEC. Did they run the option there? No. You lose, idiot.
Haha...the 95 Nebraska team would have destroyed any USC squad. Their closest victory was by 14 points. Everyone else was destroyed. That team was out of this world. Stellar defense, offense, coaching. It was the perfect storm.
Some of you people are as ignorant as anyone. Where is Tommie now? If ya'll knew anything you'd know that the man was troubled by blood clots his whole career. For him to have played college ball at all is an incredible feat. Whoever says Nebraska sucks, must be a bitter fan of somebody Nebraska beat...
I'll give credit USC in 03, 04,& 05, but that's about it. They have been literally overrated the last 3 years. They started each of the past 3 years in the top 5, only to lose games that they should have won.
And saying Frazier couldn't make it in the SEC is an apples to oranges argument. Do you think that Peyton Manning could have ran the option at Nebraska?
No sir.....USC for the last 5 years could demolish the 95 Huskers..... Don't forget Miami of the late 80s as well... USC has more talent than the Huskers ever had.... Frazier fit well in the Big Red system but had he gone to an SEC school, he wouldn't have played QB....
That was a great play and Tommie Frazier really was a great player. That being said, Nebraska did NOT deserve to be the National Champ in 1994 (they did in 95). That will always belong to Penn State in my mind.
