Despite my lack of skill the D90 does a great job handling multiple layers of compositing. I will keep playing with it and see how far I can push the limits of the Nikon D90.

  • Did you add the black bars in postproduction(editing)? ...when i shoot with the d90..i see the screen and there´s black bars but when i export the file to the PC the black bars disappear..its kinda of trouble when shooting cuz then i got to manually add the bars cropping =( and loose some things...can you give me some advices?

  • the matte bars were added in post. to give it a 2.40 to 1 look

  • looks very good now :) and i cant wait to see more D90 stuff from you :D

  • Thanks for your input... I toned the fire down added the camera shake and some simulated dust falling from the building. also some glass breaking, kind of hard to see though.
