@saltybutton Same here. Norton and Stampede came out and played then Norton came back out with Steve Miller Band and did all the harmonica and back up vocals. Great Show! Lovin' in the Valley of the Moon is still one of my all time favorites. I got to meet him here years later in Las Vegas (with Roy Rogers) and he was simply the most wonderful, down to earth human being you can imagine. Truly a great loss.
I saw a Steve Miller Band concert back in the late 70`s. Norton Buffalo Stampede was the warm up act. I loved him! I bought his 8 track album "Lovin in the Valley of the Moon" right away. Recently, I saw where he had passed away. What a talent. He didn`t get near the credit he deserved. Thanks for posting this. I`ve wanted to hear this music again for years.
