Aww, I upgraded my iphone and backed up and stuff but when i hit restore nothing happend xd but its ok

Is it possible to upgrade a 2nd generation iPod touch with 4.2.1 firmware and get it to 4.3 or can 2nd generations not go that high?

@TheBlueUmbreon Yeah, i used APTBackup from cydia and updated, redownloaded apt backup and clicking restore in the app. Preary easy, i didnt lost my installous apps too!

@TheBlueUmbreon I did this when i had 4.3 and now i have 5.0 and with apt backup i got all my cydia/installous things back
oh and does it save your installous cracked apps?

Yes it does. But, some settings might be lost.

does this work with any update. for example 2.2.1 to 3.0 when it comes out?

hey so if i have the old software and i do the back up and then update on itunes it will now lock me out?
