I think x-men needs an overall organization or something like that. because i really want to get into x-men but I dont know what to read besides astonishing x men and new x-men

@benscomics I've heard Ultimate X-Men: Ultimate Collection Volume 1 is a great jumping-on point. It deals with a group of X-Men from an alternate universe, so you won't have to read any back issues in order to understand what's going on; from what I hear, it's supposed to be pretty entertaining.

The issues you completely disregarded were some of the better issues of the series. Okay, so Depths was shallow with some pretty poor characterization, but Reptile Brain was a far step from being something you can brush off for this group.
This 'overview' is the real garbage. T:

@Alemints What issues? I guess someone can't tell the difference between a trade paperback and a comic book, but I guess that's why you ride the short bus to school. After a few beers, I'm sure Reptile Brain is a great read, since you don't notice how poorly written Bane is. :)
