I am a fashion school grad but it is sad to see that the fashion industry looks down on great minds and talents who choose to take other routes other than "..so-and-so, a graduate of.."....

there will be a day when the unknowns become known and expose the industry for what it really is. until then it will always be a hype machine, allowing only artists with "proper" educations to "enter"...

Eric Lebon showed at Hyeres, he never went to fashion school and was entirely self taught. Talent does count.

if only an art world and fashion world existed where artists and designers could come together and present their work without the need for a a high-dollar education.

it all hit me when i realized even designers and artists, hundreds of years ago went to the finest schools...this is when the industry began...and if you

open your textbooks, you will only find a handful at best, of artists who did not pay money to be a part of it all.

this is a pay to play industry, don't be fooled.
