Luxi by Wings during the 1973 Band on the Run mixing sessions. Denny Laine on lead vocal and Jimmy McCulloch on lead guitar (before he joined the band)
Thanks again for your fantastic uploads! This is actually a promo of sorts for the "Band on the Run" album. "Luxy" refers to Radio Luxembourg, hence the repeated phrase "I heard it on Luxy". This was probably recorded in Paris in November 1973, when Jimmy played some sessions with Wings for an intended "Suzy and the Redstripes" LP. A couple of tracks ended up on Linda's posthumous Wide Prairie album, and "Zoo Gang" was also recorded at that time. You can find this track on "Cold Cuts vol. 2".
Sweeeeet! Why the hell wasn't this on the BOTR reissue? They almost sound a bit like Aerosmith here.
