AVATAR speed painting (hand drawn not computer art

After watching the new avatar movie, with its vivid fantasy colours, I had to draw something from it. So here is a portrait of a navi sped up in timelapse. Its one of those films that make you want to draw it because of its rich colourful palette.

  • u just got subbed :D awesome drawing man, im better at black and white because i cant work with colours properly. i agree with prattboy10 you should do one in black and white. if u think it will be too hard, just put a black and white affect on this vid.

  • @rubymermaid1 thanks for subbing ! by black and white it think he meant pencil shading

  • this would have looked good in black and white! :) still 5/5 really nice u should make a video where you draw this in black and white :D

  • @prattboy10 The thing is however that the blue tone of their skin is so distinctive that a sketch might not be as powerful as a drawing :)

  • this is amazing i wish i could draw like you but even if you did it in black and white it wouldnt show up those vivid blue colours that catch your eye, but its AMAZING! i loove the way the colours burst out in such a bright way!

  • Amazing work! I love your videos! :)

  • @MysterySparkStudios it takes so much more skill to capture all the shades and tones in color rather than black and white. so while i think that simple pencil shading would have been cool, it's definitely way more impressive that you did it in color. truly amazing job!!! :)

  • tht is so cool (it seems nearly imposible

  • Superlyk!

  • omg ! IS AMAZING !!!! :D

  • INCREDIBLE.

  • hahahahahaha ok
