  • @lilflip2003m "they" being the US govt ?

  • omg u killed the wrong people ? so what look at 9/11 footage and remember tht day they intentionallly killed civilians. should have droped an atomic bomb in the middle east. would have send a message to the world really quick

  • I'm guessing these are the military's equivalent to post katrina new olrean polices "ham sandwitch". I don't like this but I still support our military, but damn get the bad apples out. Although I don't think it's possible. All militarys have these kinds of issues, not just America

  • @paul81079 Also notice. Read all of my posts here. No where did I ever say anything to the effect of it's OK to just hunt down innocent civilians for sport or rape and kill children or anything like that. For that matter (even though this is a whole different subject) I never even said it's right that we're even out there to begin with, but we are and we will be until we're not. Soldiers have to make sudden decisions that may not always be the right one.

  • @paul81079 "What if you had been born an Iraqi, Afghan or Pakistani?" What IF? I never said I have anything against the people there or anywhere else. The whole point of this clip is that our solders would even feel the need to do this whole drop weapons thing. Remember, they're not fighting a uniformed military. If you really want to get technical, the insurgents ARE civilians in that they're not member of a unformed armed force.

  • You shouldn't justify the mistakes of the US military. You shouldn't baby lower-ranking military personnel (and that's what they are...you can't automatically categorize everyone who signed-on as "warriors") The military doesn't except minors.

In addition, you are only an "American" by chance. You happen to have been born in the US or have become a citizen by various means or by the efforts of older family members. What if you had been born an Iraqi, Afghan or Pakistani?

  • @Goatskull You do care. And you should. Your response to my post indicates that you do. You are passionate about your country and the service that military personnel provide. But I think that your unconditional love for American combatants has blinded your judgement.

  • @paul81079 I don't care about other people's opinions about the U.S. Lets be real here. Do you care about other people's opinion about your county? As to not supporting the troops, they can go fuck themselves. If they disagree with the war fine. Hate the war but not the warrior. A person who crosses me and can't think that way get a fist flown into their face.

  • @paul81079 Well here's the thing. It IS war. Try listening to the the soldiers who were there for a change. I work in a military hospital and as a result of that I hear some of the stories. Yes some very disturbing accounts of things the very soldier, marine, sailor, or airmen was involved with. Tell me this. If one of these guys admits he was involved with killing innocent people but yet has a limb missing you can just tell him to fuck off? I can't.

  • @paul81079 Truth is I can't think of any. What's your point?
