  • Hey :) I'm now a lil interested in seeing this movie. I say a lil b/c I'm not a big movie person. I know when I initially saw the preview I didn't have a good feeling. I actually blurted out something negative (I was at home). Since we're on this topic, did you review Precious? Now I love you, Oprah and Tyler BUT there's NOTHING any of you can say to encourage me to go see that movie. My sis/brother in law hated it.

  • @LuBellaCoils lol...I have never seen Precious. I just could never bring myself to watch it. Just always felt it was going to be way more drama then I wanted. Maybe I'll watch it...one day.

  • @concedenothing I heard the drama was over the top. I guess the director wanted the audience to feel as if they were actually there with Precious. I guess he doesn't know you can do that without being repulsive. Anyway, I love when you do vids like this (Carol's Daughter's Ad, Nivea, etc).

  • I was apprehensive at first before viewing the movie this weekend. After seeing the movie with my cousins I was so glad that I did go. I laughed and cried...it was a great movie to me. I thought the casting was perfect.

  • To me it was a satire of the society of the time seen through the maids' eyes and was done very realistically.....I love it ! I must it was quite true to the book -which I read- which was great to see. I like that they focused on the plight of the females in the movie both black and white and the presence of the males were just a backdrop -Leroy and Ms.Hilly's husband- for example. It was a great read and a great movie!
